Okay, Tuesday or Friday, but it has to be somewhere close.

What's close (to you)? Valley Creek?

I don't have many good ideas yet, I am still thinking.

How about somewhere around Watres Reservoir or Nesbitt Reservoir? Just a preliminary suggestion.

I'm down with that. I was up there once, maybe 3 summers ago, and fished Spring Brook and I think Rattlesnake Creek, but only very briefly. If they suck we could always go to the Lackawanna River and not catch anything again...

Shoo, maybe I'll go up tomorrow and not catch some of the huge trout that aren't there...

You'll get orange stuff on your nimp.

Panther Creek in the Lackawanna SF might be cool.

What about the Lehigh on the Lackawanna/Monroe border, adjacent to SGL 127?

I probably will.

Didn't we go to the Lehigh up there once and wasn't it dookie? Whatever, I'll try again.

I'm not positive that Panther Creek is actually in Lackawanna SF - in my Hymnal it's labeled but there's no boundary to the north and east. Not like that should hinder our attempt...

Its in there, I hunted grouses last winter up in there (Lackawanna SF).

We did fish the Lehigh near Thornhurst, for about 30 minutes and neither of us caught anything. It actually was on Lackawanna River Day, where we also caught nothing.

Point taken, however. The section I suggest is about 7 miles upstream, and is, like, in the forest and stuff.

We also could go to Adams Creek or Toms Creek.
Blue Head to Lofty?

I still like the Nesbitt - Watres thing. I've never been in around there.

By the way, nice Salmo trutta spots.

Are we the only Team GFR forumers left?

Let's go somewhere not ridiculous on Friday. I want to film the first CQNF movie.

I say the Upper Lehigh / Panther Creek / Watres/Nesbitt endeavor. If wherever we go first sucks, we could easily relocate. Fishing the Lehigh in the woods would be cool, actually.

Thanks.

I suppose the chatter will increase a bit come spring.

Okay, where's not ridiculous? I'll go wherever you say, cap'n.

Let's go here:

Just kiding. By not ridiculous, I mean anywhere that does not require hands to walk, or has a high likelyhood of falling down or in.

I have an un-antlered deer harvest permission slip. Did you get one?

Wild brown trout were present in Towanda Creek from the headwaters downstream to West Leroy. Wild trout were relatively scarce throughout this stretch, but some large wild brown trout and holdover hatchery trout of all three species were present at most of our upstream sampling sites.

Shoo!

I keep forgetting to get my license - I'm glad you mentioned it.

I saw me some trouts in the Towanda Creek - Upstream of Canton near Grover, PA. That sector is cool.
Two cricks, Towanda and Lycoming, start in the same large meadow and flow in opposite directions. Towanda to the north and east, Lycoming to the southwest.

Both streams in the meadow are highly stable "E" channels, so I went in there once to check them out.
The meadow said to me: "I wasn't born freestone cricks, I was birfin' 'em."
