the fly fishing show is coming to Charlotte on January 31. I just signed up to take a casting class with Joe Humphreys. So hopefully I won't suck as much this year.

Casted with Joe for 2 and a half hours this morning. Pretty sweet. Joe's cast is pretty simple, just a little wrist flip back and then forward. Plus, it's good for getting under branches and shit. Joe even got distracted for a few seconds, so we turned around to see what distracted him, and it was a hot chick walking by... sounds like someone i know.

Yea, i was trying to lead him into that, but he didn't bite. I was like, "hey where do you live in State College, because we go up every May for a big week of fishing." He did tell me where he lives, but didn't say, "oh really, let me know when you get there and I'll meet you on the stream."
